The Route was based on the Alta Via 1 from Lago di Braies to Agordo, and passed through the massifs of Sennes Alp, Fanes Alp, Tofana, Nuvolau, Croda da Lago, Pelmo, Civetta, Moiazza and Tamer. Much of this was the same route as the 1980 and 1989 Treks. We climbed the peaks of la Varella (3055 m) and Nuvolau (2575 m). The route divided into three sections between supply points: Lago di Braies  >  Rifugio Saré  >  Cortina  >  Forno di Zoldo.
