The Route was an east-west traverse of the High Pyrenees from Bagnères-de-Luchon to Gavarnie, mostly on the Spanish side of the range, finishing with a 4-day circuit through the Brèche de Roland and the Ordesa Canyon as in 1987. The only summit we climbed was le Taillon (3144 m), but we also crossed the 3000 m line at Collado de la Paúl (3057 m). The route divided into five sections between supply points: Bagnères-de-Luchon  >  Camping Aneto  >  Viadós  >  Héas  >  Gavarnie  >  Gavarnie.
